To celebrate your tenth wdding anniversary you could indeed buy

What is tin?
It's chemical symbol is Sn.
It is a silvery malleable metallic element that resists corrosion;
used in many alloys and to coat other metals to prevent corrosion.
Tin is obtained mostly from cassiterite where it occurs as tin oxide.
Cassiterite today are found in alluvial or placer deposits containing
the resistant weathered grains. Cassiterite is a widespread minor
constituent of igneous rocks. The Bolivia veins and the old exhausted
workings of Cornwall, England, are concentrated in high temperature
quartz veins and pegmatites associated with granitic intrusives.
The cornish tin mining was at a peak between 1840-60. Whilst tin mine
ruins on wild Cornish coast may now seem picturesque and scenic, the
mines thmeselves had a high fatality rate.
The 10th wedding anniversary is traditionally represented by tin but
as these seems not very romantic it is often superceded by diamond
jewellery and the jem black onyx.
